Find Freedom & Healing
In Community
Treasure Valley Pure Desire provides a safe sanctuary and support for men and women seeking restoration and integrity from unwanted sexual behaviors, and for spouses seeking healing from betrayal.

“You are not alone in this fight.”
Pure Desire Ministries began in the local church. Our founders, Dr. Ted and Diane Roberts, recognized the pervasiveness of sexual struggle in the church. The evasive answers of the past only gave men and women a message of “try harder,” which kept them isolated in their shame and struggle. Over the course of two decades, they developed a strategy that is biblically based, clinically informed, and highly successful in creating lasting change.
The Mission of Pure Desire
Pure Desire's mission is to provide hope, freedom, and healing from compulsive sexual behavior and betrayal trauma through Jesus Christ. The Pure Desire program addresses the evidence-based understanding that compulsive sexual behavior and the associated struggles are a family systems issue, not just an individual problem. For this reason, healing needs to happen for the entire family. The person struggling needs healing, as well as the spouse who has experienced betrayal. Our approach is practical and applicable to daily life. We offer a library of resources to guide men and women through the healing process.
